We live in exciting times. AI can create realistic simulations of characters and images with great quality.

AI Engine aims to make generative AI easy to use and accessible. It has a simple interface and guides you on how to get, import and run AI models. Choose from a variety of models that best fit your goals (like role-playing new or existing characters, learning, summarizing, ..) to perform the features described below.

The application is primarily focused on offline AI models:

  • Once set up, you can use them completely offline.
  • Everything stays on your computer. No one can revoke, modify, charge or limit your access.
  • No usage data is sent to a remote server.
  • No subscriptions required
  • No Tracking or Selling of data

Optionally, the application also guides you on how to use cloud models (which require a token to be provided by you).

Is this product for me?

A tool that belongs in everyone's arsenal

AI augments our minds and hopefully accelerates our progress, bringing us closer to the point where we get rid of Poverty/Discrimination/… but AI is far from perfect and biased based on the underlying training data. AI relies on your own judgment and may offend you; thus, you should be able to deal with it.

Do you want to have a helpful ally and entertainer? If you are smart, AI can change the way you work, or you can just use it for personal fun. Use it only to create positive things and please keep the following in mind!:

If you have an AMD Graphics Card you might want to wait, at least if you want to generate images. Image generation is just too slow on CPU only.

If you have a potato PC(Check the hardware requirements!)… Evaluate it at a later point in time. Right now, the models are not only CPU and GPU demanding but also require significant loading throughput. If you don't have a decent system, you will experience long loading times.
As an alternative, you can use cloud-based models (paid); however, the main motivation behind AI Engine is offline use, at least for now.

If you are a Gamedev/Dev, let me know any requirements for the planned API! AI Engine's motivation is that players shouldn't have to subscribe to another subscription just to do AI tasks.

If you have an A100 8x rig or multiple RTX Xs. you may want to stick to other powertools, as the focus is on providing a smooth broad tool for a variety of different AI tasks that may lack on some missing details. But feature requests and your expertise are always welcome!

Additional Notes:
No AMD Graphics Card Support (NVIDIA Only). A NVIDIA graphics card with at least 6GB VRAM and CUDA V12.1 or greater installed (no support for GTX 1650 or 1660).
